SECONTEC uses three different types of permanently installed security cameras for continuous surveillance: special thermal imaging cameras, latest-generation IP cameras, and remote-controlled cameras. Like the speakers used, they are based on PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology. This means that they are connected to the central data and power network via IP cabling.

The system is therefore not vulnerable to interference attempts via radio or WiFi. In addition, the cameras are protected against vandalism because an alarm is triggered in the event of any physical alteration. Plus: The specifically configured video and audio servers are equipped with powerful UPS systems.
